After my previous band, Overlight Underdark opted to take an extended mult-year break, I began a restart of my solo efforts in early 2004. This was one of the first songs I wrote during that period. I was just starting to put together a hodge-podge of gear to create my home studio, and I was without a bass guitar. So on this track I used a guitar routed through a pitch shifting pedal to simulate a bass guitar sound.
