I recorded this on 4 track cassette while also playing a lot of Halo and Halo 2 on original X-Box. Dropships coming down from the sky in droves; you had better defend the sanctum, or all is lost. Welcome to a video game or sci-fi movie nightmare. This theme has continued to be a strong part of my recordings in recent years, on the Maximum Commander CD or Hell Level Live CD, you can hear related explorations. This track represents one of the earlier explorations. The music was meant to be heavy, to match the lyrics in gloomy tone. No guitars used, I got the heavy tone with synths instead. Who said keyboards can't sound heavy?
